Pilates strengthens the “postural muscles” – the internal, stabilising muscles of your body. Your posture, balance, core strength, flexibility and overall look ALL improve! Exercises are performed on the floor in these private classes, with the use of your own body weight as the primary source of resistance. The emphasis is on quality of movement rather than quantity with modifications given to suit your individual needs.
